Big Brothers Big Sisters of Austin requested a simple design for their 40th anniversary logo; nothing with too much frill. I took a playful hand-drawn approach, using type only for the dates.

The cover was inspired by Texas and Ranch Road's vintage, almost western style.

The cover for Ranch Road's intern production manual, an internal project, an internal inspired by the shop itself.

Typeface is Neutraface Inline — a shop favorite. And now for some interior shots:

The illustrations were all hand drawn, scanned in and layered on top of the reference photos.

Even data this dry can be an exciting challenge to design. Zebra striping, however subtle, is essential when dealing with this much information. The natural colors, inspired by Ranch Road's rustic style, serve to soften the rigidity of the data.

This is the Lady Trojan's first sports program. The theme was playful but not childish, fun and a little girly. In addition to the design, I polished both the content and photography,

The Design Bureau is an amazing San Francisco Bay Area web design company; I helped them fine tune the design as well as write and edit the content for this informational brochure. The content is excellent, so if you have a moment, do give it a read.

This document helps new interns understand what will be expected of them in their time at the company. The original content was condensed and grammar checked, and the design was completely refreshed; this turned out to be a great increase in readability.

The client requested a modern update to their classic logo:

I always welcome the opportunity to add hand drawn elements. The final logo ended up quite similar to the original pencil drawing:

The theme for SparkleFish's "Birthday in a Box" was bright and playful. I worked with another designer to polish and paint the illustrations, fine-tune the copy and apply color themes.
